I Created Palestinians

“If there is any such thing as a Palestinian people it is I, Arafat who created them.”

– Yaseer Arafat, (aka Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf al-Qudwa al-Husseini, born in Egypt)

Let us be totally clear – there has never been, and never was, a race, a tribe, a people, nor a culture at any period in history known as the Palestinians who were indigenous to the land they now claim.

Only since 1964, enemies of the Jewish State of Israel have perpetuated this myth. During the previous centuries, no traveler who wrote about his exploits ever identified the ‘ Palestinians ‘. They are a myth that has morphed into fact promoted by bigots, intellectual incompetents, hostile, unprofessional media, and racists in facilitating the anthropological miracle of the Palestinians who falsely lay claim to the Land of The Jewish People.

The Palestinian myth is expressed and exposed by many Arab religious leaders, politicians, terrorists and scholars. Note too that within the Qur’an there is not one mention of either Jerusalem or Palestine!

From an Islamic religious perspective, the area known as Palestine is bequeathed, bestowed and promised to the Jewish people in numerous Suras within the Qur’an.

For reference the following Suras are proof of this:

2.47 – Al Baqara “O Children of Israel .. call to mind the special favour which I, Allah bestowed upon you and that I preferred you above the whole world.”

17.104 – Al Israa “And We Allah said thereafter to the Children of Israel ‘Dwell securely in the land of Promise’.”

The following additional Suras explicitly confirm that the Promised Land, was bequeathed to the Jewish people by Allah through Mohammed.  2.122, 5.21, 7.137, 7.138, 10.93, 17.2, 17.104, 20.80, 40.53, 44.32, 45.16.

In all these Suras Allah in clear and concise Arabic asserts that he fulfilled his promise to reward the Jewish people, the Children of Israel with the Promised Land. Thus defying Allah, Mohammed and the Qur’an on this matter is to make a mockery of Islam.

The truth makes unpalatable reading for the enemies of the Jewish State of Israel and anti-Semites. The false narrative, propaganda and lies that have morphed into facts and are continuously promoted by the anti-Israeli media, NGO ‘s and numerous members of the United Nations, are easily debunked as this article will expose.

Why have mainstream media purposely ignored the facts and allowed the fiction to spread unchecked, unchallenged and multiply? And why is the only Jewish State in the world subject to such global media hostility facilitating antisemitism?  Jew hatred is commonly disguised as pro-Palestinian advocacy, the shield that the racists, cowards, and intellectually misinformed hide behind.

Political, religious and military leaders, scholars, travelers, researchers, historians, chroniclers, diarists and writers who recorded their visits throughout the centuries to the land currently claimed by those identifying as Palestinians, never made reference to the indigenous Palestinians.  Not one written document or archaeological find between 15000 BC to 1964 CE provides evidence of or alludes to the existence of an indigenous group , race, people, tribe or culture identifying as Palestinian. The Palestinian therefore is most certainly a myth.

Is it possible that all those visiting and recording their travels missed the existence of the Palestinians who purport to be the original inhabitants of the geography dating back thousands of years? All however certainly described the existence of Jews in numerous locations such as Shechem, Hevron, (Hebron), Haifa, Safed, Caesarea, Gaza (yes Gaza), Ramleh, (Ramallah), Sidon. , Galilee, Kfar Alma – just a few of many examples as well as Jews being the majority population in Jerusalem.  This theme is the common thread uniting all those writing about the geography since time immemorial. A Jewish presence was ubiquitous but no archaeological evidence, sign or proof of a Palestinian presence.

All available research from those who recorded their journeys to the Holy Land verifies the historical presence of Judaism and Jews but nothing alluding to the existence of ‘indigenous Palestinians ‘.  Indeed, during the four-hundred-year period of Turkish rule (1517 -1917) the only Arabs to be found were mostly itinerant Bedouins and latterly in the mid-19th century Arab immigrants, benefiting from the Zionist economic boon.  No Palestinians were habiting the area let alone being indigenous to it.

EARLY CHRONICLERS

A few examples are listed below of chroniclers between the 13th and mid-19th century testify to these facts, all describing a Jewish presence but not one of them identifying the existence of Palestinians. None of the works spanning 500 years make any mention of a Palestinian people indigenous to the area and their land rights.

The 13th century Arab biographer, Yakut wrote: ”Mecca is holy to Muslims and Jerusalem is holy to Jews.” He never in any of his writings alluded to Palestinians.

Ibn Khaldun, Arab historian and philosopher wrote in 1377, ”Jewish Sovereignty in the Land of Israel extended over 1400 years and it was the Jews who implanted the culture and customs of the permanent settlement”.

Martin Kabatnik, died 1503, – From Jerusalem to Cairo: ”The heathens (non-Jews) oppose the Jews at their pleasure, in spite of all the tribulations and the agonies they suffer at the hands of the heathen, the Jews refuse to leave the Holy Land that has been promised to them.”

Edward Webbe, 1590, Adrian Reland 1665, Count Constantine Francois Volney 1750 , William Thackeray, 1844, Gustav Flaubert, 1850 , James Finn 1857, Mark Twain, 1867, and B.W. Johnson, 1892 reinforce  the nonexistence of any Palestinians. These itinerant scribes did not write about them or the villages they supposedly inhabited because they never existed.

The Palestinians are a recent construct invented by those political organizations and Arab countries who sought to eliminate the Jewish State of Israel and deconstruct the geographical area. after Israel’s legal creation in 1948. And what is equally astounding is that the fiction has morphed into fact. The mythical people we know today as the Palestinians have revised history so that a non-existent people have existed apparently since time immemorial.

P or F?

What is the mother tongue of the indigenous Palestinian I ask?

Naturally, without hesitation, the answer is Arabic easily verified by numerous sources. However, to a disciplined researcher such as myself therein lies a paradox which unfortunately exposes unpalatable facts for both the ‘Palestinians’ and their supporters.

There is no sound for the letter ‘P’ (for Palestinian) in Arabic. Just mentally process that fact for a moment and question the paradox of all paradoxes. There is no sound for ‘P’ in Arabic. Palestinian is simply the English language bastardization of the Latin word for the geographical area Hadrian named ”Palaestina” in the second century. Naming the area Palaestina humiliated the Jews having quashed their revolt and uprising led by Simon Bar Kochba . Unsurprisingly there are no historical records of a Palestinian revolt against the Romans. Is this not the same geographical area the current Palestinians and their supporters currently claim as their right?  Clearly there was no Palestinian presence nor resistance to the Romans during this period. Renaming the area from Judea to Palaestina after the ancient foes of the Jewish people, the Philistines, was the ultimate humiliation for the Jews.

Ironically there are two dictionary definitions of the word Philistine one being uncultured or uncouth heathen the other being ‘an extinct people from the Greek islands’.

This is why Herodotus, the Greek historian named the area “Palaistine” in the fifth century, BC after those who settled on the coastal plains and who originated from the Greek islands, the Philistines. The Philistines became extinct after their annihilation in the sixth century BC  by the Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar.

Are Philistines Palestinians?

You will note that archaeological evidence is in abundance to validate all peoples to the area alluded to except that of the Palestinians where no such proof of their existence is to be found.

For the sake of historical clarity, I reiterate the fact that there was no ‘Palestinian’ uprising or claims to Jerusalem against the Romans – only a Jewish fight for the land against the invaders. Thus, it is from the term Philistines that the name Palestine derives and both Philistines and Palestinians have the commonality of being invaders – the former from the Greek Islands, the latter from surrounding Arab countries. The very definition of their name has nothing whatsoever to do with ethnicity but is simply a descriptive application. Furthermore, the origination of the name Philistine derives from the Hebrew ”Peleshet” meaning foreign invaders or penetrators.

Is it not therefore an absurd irony that today’s Palestinians call themselves after either extinct Greek seafaring invaders or uncultured, uncouth heathens?  Why would any people, tribe or race accept, indeed be proud of such negative descriptions?  The former immediately debunks their very existence and the latter is not the kind of description to take pride in. Even more imbecilic, why call themselves a name they cannot pronounce in their mother tongue? An English word, not Arabic and with such negative definitions to their history and culture.

No, no, shout the offended Palestinians – we are called Fellastinians, that is the Arabic word for us. Oh really, this disciplined researcher retorts in astonishment. But ‘Fellastine’ is simply the Arab pronunciation of Philistine and therefore apart from one letter to conform with Arabic vocalization the Fellastinians are still naming themselves after extinct Greek sailors or uncouth, uncultured heathens – and in Queen’s English. And if your mother tongue is Arabic then surely you must originate from Arabia not Israel where the spoken language was Hebrew?

Further investigation is necessary to discover why the Palestinians should be satisfied with such negative and offensive definitions debunking all claims of indigenous ethnicity. So we research into the Fellastinian historical archives in the expectation of discovering a people or persons who identified as indigenous Fellastinian leaders; or a war, battle or conflict fought by indigenous Fellastinians against any domestic or foreign invaders throughput the centuries of warfare in their apparent homeland, perhaps in an attempt to recapture their cherished Jerusalem. Maybe we will find archaeological evidence of a Fellastinian currency, town or city; maybe a historical construct originated and built by indigenous Fellastinians and the name of the Fellastinian architect. If the Fellastinians are indigenous then history and archaeological evidence must surely reveal the name of anyone, just one historical Fellastinian King, Queen, Prince, Princess, President, Imam, Philosopher, Writer, Poet, Scribe, Soldier, Sailor, Tinker, Tailor, Butcher, Baker or Candlestick maker.

Neither history nor archaeology provides any proof of a Palestinian existence.

NOT ONE MENTION OF PALESTINIANS IN ANY HISTORICAL RECORDS

1. Thomas Shaw, British archaeologist, 1750: “The land is lacking in people to till its fertile soil.” Shaw found an abundance of evidence pertaining to the Jewish historical existence but nothing alas referring to a Palestinian existence.

2. James Silk Buckingham in 1816 and Lord Lindsey in 1838 wrote of Jewish history, areas, habitation and life in their diaries without any mention of a Palestinian presence

3. US Navy Commander William F. Lynch in 1847 on a visit to the Holy Land diarized of the meetings with Jews and Christians – nothing alluding to Palestinians. “We had letters to the Chief Rabbi of the Jews who came to meet us….and showed us two synagogues, one Sephardi and one Ashkenazim.”

4. Henry Burgess Whittaker, 1852 in his book, Thoughts of the Morning Land – A Record of Two Visits To Palestine, never mentions a Palestinian people, race, tribe, culture nor presence.

5. Reverend Arthur G.H. Hollingsworth, similarly in his 1859 book, “The Present Condition And Future Prospects Of The Jews In Palestine”. Numerous references to the Jewish population in the area but never once pens about a Palestinian population. The nearest he comes is when describing the itinerant Arab population thus. “The Arab roam about the plains or lurk in the mountains as robbers and strangers having no settled home and without any fixed attachment to to the land.”

6. Christian travelers to the area in the mid 1800’s wrote thus: “Arabs cannot be considered but temporary residents. They pitched their tents in its grazing fields or built their places of refuge in its ruined cities. They created nothing in it since they were strangers to the land – the desert wind brought them hither.”

7. The Arab scholar Muqaddasi wrote in 985 CE that “In Jerusalem the large majority of the population were Jewish and that the mosque empty of worshippers…”  He never described Palestinians.

8. Ibn al Qalanisi a Syrian Muslim scholar when recording the Crusader invasion of the Holy Land in 1099 wrote, “They stormed the town and gained possession of it. A number of the townsfolk fled to the sanctuary and many were killed. The Jews assembled and the synagogue was burned over their heads. The sanctuary was surrendered on guarantee of safety on 22 Sha’ban ( July ) 1099 of this year and they destroyed the shrines and the tomb of Abraham.”

9. When Salahdin the Kurd recaptured the city of Jerusalem from the Crusaders, it was the Jews whom he permitted to move back to their origins. There was no record of him allowing the same privileges to the Palestinians as there were none in existence.

10. A contemporary of Ibn al – Qalanisi, Al -Asimi wrote in the same period thus. “The Crusaders burned the Church of the Jews.” Nothing about any Palestinians.

11. Ibn Tamiyyah 1263 -1328, one of the most revered Islamic scholars – “In Jerusalem there is not a place one calls sacred and the same holds for the tomb of Hebron”.

The respected Islamic scholars noted above spanning 350 years were unaware of a Palestinian people as were many modern Arab scholars and politicians as follows:

“Who can challenge the rights of the Jews in Palestine? Good Lord, historically it is really your country.”

Yusuf Diya al – Khalidi , Arab Mayor of Jerusalem, 1899

“There is no such country as Palestine. Palestine is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Quran. Palestine is alien to us, it was the Zionists who introduced it.”

Auni Bey Abdul – Hadi , Syrian Arab leader to the British Peel Commission, 1937

“There is no such thing as Palestinian in history, absolutely no such thing.”

Professor Philip Hitti , Arab historian, 1946

“Such a creature as Palestinian does not exist at all.”

Ahmad Shukan 1956, Arab representative to the United Nations

Never forget there is no such thing as a Palestinian people.”

Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yasser Arafat 1983

“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian? We were Jordanian until the Jews retrurned to Jerusalem then all of a sudden, we were Palestinian. When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it is my duty as a righteous man to speak out.”

Walid Shoebat – former PLO terrorist

“There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians…Keep in mind that Arabs control 99.9% of th Middle east and Israel one tenth of one perecent – but that’s too much for the Arabs. They want it all…And ultimately that is what the fighting with Israel is today….”

Joseph Farah, Arab writer, journalist and historian in his 1967 essay Myths of the Middle East

“…it is only for political reasons that we carefully underline the Palestinian identity yes the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The creation of a Palestinian State is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel.”

Zuhair Mushin, military commander of the PLO, March 1977 interview with Dutch daily Trouw

“Every Palestinian in Gaza and throughout Palestine can prove his Arab roots, from Saudi Arabia, Yemen,, from any Arab country. We have blood ties – all my famly is egyptian; half of all Palestinians are Egyptian the other half Saudi…we are Arab Muslims.”

Fathi Hamad, Hamas Head of National Security & Interior Minister, Mar 23, 2012

IMMIGRANTS

Those calling themselves “Palestinians” are just immigrants from surrounding countries.

On a separate but still relevant issue, the Arab leaders who testified to the 1937 Peel Commission stated categorically that no land was stolen from the Arabs by the Zionists – it was all paid for by legal contracts. State-lands and Wastelands had been set aside for Jewish population as legally granted in the League of Nations Mandate of 1923.The Nazi collaborator, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el Husseini (another from Saudi Arabia) admitted on record to Sir Laurie Hammond. Thus, we debunk another myth that has morphed into fact, that the land was stolen from the indigenous Palestinians by the Zionists.

I believe this essay has provided sufficient sourced evidence to determine beyond any doubt that the claims of those identifying as Palestinians to any part of the geographical area are lies. No Palestinian people ever existed so who are they now and how did they come into being.

In order to understand this we must realize that Arab immigration into the area coincided with the arrival of Jewish people firstly from Europe and thereafter from Arab countries. The economic benefits created by Zionism attracted Arab immigration. The evidence is obvious and in abundance.

1857, British Consul, James Finn in a paper he wrote relating to Disturbances in Syria, noted thousands of Beni Sukhr Arabs “Settling in Tiberias who never are seen this side of the Jordan river.”

Circa 1860 thousands of Algerian Muslims immigrated to Safed (A History of Palestine , by Jacob de Haas).

Circa 1870 thousands of Circassians encouraged by Turkey colonized many areas of Palestine (C.G. Smith , Studies on Palestine During the Ottoman Period).

Colonel R. Meinertzhagen , Senior British Middle East diplomat diarised extensively about Arab immigration to the area  in his Middle East Diaries, 1917 – 1956 .

Winston Churchill, in 1922 “A Peace to End All Peace” recorded that ” The Arabs would have sat in the dark forever had not the Zionist engineers harnessed the Jordan River for electrification. Now they swarm into Palestine seeking the light.”

Tewlik Bey El Houran , Governor of Hauran Province in Southern Syria , in an interview with La Syne in August 1934 complained “…in the last few months 30,000 and more  Haurase Syrians have entered and settled in Palestine.”

Churchill recorded further in 1939 … “So far from being persecuted the Arabs have crowded into Palestine and multiplied until their population has increased more than even all world Jewry …”

The Palestine Royal Commission Report of 1937, known as the Peel Report recorded – “This illegal Arab immigration was not only going on from Sinai but also from Transjordan and Syria….”

For those of you who have persevered with this post, it will not surprise you to learn that Jerusalem was never mentioned in the original 1964 Palestinian Charter! Such is the Palestinian love for the Holy City. Nor when it was in Jordanian control for near on twenty years did one Muslim Head of State visit Jerusalem to pray! Again proof of the lack of respect and claim to the Holy City. Indeed, in such contempt was Jerusalem held that the Jordanians desecrated it and moved all the Government Offices from Jerusalem to Amman to decrease Jerusalem’s importance! The writings of Joseph Farah above ring so true about Arab greed for land.

Those who support the ‘Palestinians’ are supporting political parties formed in the mid 1960’s intending as per their Charters of 1964 and 1968 to fulfil the Nazi objectives of the 1930’s, that of Jew extermination.

Grotesquely the Palestinian Hamas Charter of 1988 takes Islamic Nazism to excremental levels by demanding in Article 17, the extermination of those whose main purpose is to fund hospices, assist the terminally ill or support those parents with physically or mentally disabled children. Those who defend the mythical Palestinians should hang their heads in shame for their advocacy of modern-day Nazism.

I shall stand up and be counted and expose the lie that supports, defends, advocates and sympathizes with the enemies of the only Jewish State in the world that just happens to be a multiracial democracy, the absolute antipathy of Islamic Nazism and their supporters.
