Can You See The Invisible?

Jesus came from heaven to earth so that the INVISIBLE God can be VISIBLE to man.

That is why when one of His followers requested for Jesus to show them God, Jesus simply said, “How can you still not understand who I am after all this time I have been with you? When you see Me, you have seen God!” (John 14:9, paraphrased)

Notice that Jesus did not say, “If you want to see God, look at His Word in the Scriptures.”

Jesus did not say, “If you want to see God, look at the prophets.”

Jesus did not say, “If you want to see God, follow your religion faithfully.”

He said, “If you want to see God, LOOK AT ME!” Did any prophet or messenger dare to say this?

This does not mean Jesus existed in the form of a human being in heaven. He didn’t posses a human body before His incarnation as a human being on earth. He existed eternally as the Word of God. This Word became flesh as He added an earthly human nature to His heavenly divine nature and consented to come to be born as human baby from a womb, and named Jesus, which means ‘Yahweh Saves’.

“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in BODILY form.” Colossians 2:9

“..through whom (Jesus), He (God) made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Hebrews 1:2-3

Jesus is the Living Word of God who came so that we can be saved by God through our faith in Jesus. (That is what the very name ‘Jesus/Yeshua’ means!)

Through Jesus alone we can have salvation; and we can now know God and relate to Him in a personal way that is otherwise impossible.
