3 Facts You Didn’t Know About Allah

Allah can change his shape and appear in different visible forms

Not many know this. In fact, most Muslims would say this is blasphemy. However, this is what their most authentic sources affirm.

…Then the Almighty will come to them in a shape other than the one which they saw the first time, and He will say, ‘I am your Lord,’ and they will say, ‘You are not our Lord.’…

Sahih al-Bukhari 7439

This is an extensive hadith and I have a quoted a specfic excerpt from it. Note what it says…Allah will come to them in a shape other than the one which they saw the first time. This means that Allah appeared in some unknown shape at some unknown point in history. And people saw him! This was the first manifestation of Allah.

And then, at some unknown time in the future (i.e. the day of resurrection), Allah will appear again. But this time he changes his shape and appears in a different form. People who see him will be unable to recognize him. In fact, they even reject his explicit, unequivocal claim that he is their Lord even they he says to them, “I am your Lord.”

How fascinating! No Muslim is able to explain when Allah supposedly came the “first time”, or what shape he took on. Why isn’t there any record of this event in history or even in the Islamic writings? Apparently Allah himself had appeared among them but no one said or recorded anything about it. The Quran gives details on how many wives you can marry and that your role-model Muhammad has no restrictions on the number of wives he can marry but it is mute on this momentous occasion when Allah appeared to them in some unknown shape. Who did he appear to? What did he say to them? When did it happen? Islam gives us no answers. No one knows or can even deny if Allah appeared in the shape of a camel or a cucumber or in the form of a man.

Allah can get hurt

This is another fact that Muslims will vehemently and violently deny. Try saying this to a Muslim and they will become enraged and spew curses on you. You can consider yourself lucky to walk away with your head intact and still on your shoulders. Yet, the most authentic Islamic sources tell us of an occasion when Allah was really hurt.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Who is ready to kill Ka`b bin Al-Ashraf who has really hurt Allah and His Apostle?”…

Sahih al-Bukhari 3031

How was Allah hurt? Ka’b bin Ashraf was the leader of the Jewish tribe, Banu Nadir. He was also a poet. He wrote lyrics in praise of the bravery of the Meccans. Muhammad didn’t like this because the Meccans were his enemies. Muhammad was hurt because of how insecure he was, but not just Muhammad. The creator of the universe was also apparently hurt. All because some Jew wrote a poem.

Long story short. Muhammad ordered the assasination of Ka’b bin Ashraf. You can read about the dastardly plot in Sahih Bukhari 4037. It describes the conspiracy, the secret plans, the deception and lies and finally, the cold-blooded savage murder of Ka’b.

The bottomline is, Allah can be hurt. And when Allah gets hurt, Muslims will defend their Allah and kill you. Just as they killed poor Ka’b bin Ashraf as ordered by Islam’s perfect role model for humanity.

Allah’s will is for you to be sinful

Allah needs you to sin; so that you can beg for forgiveness from him. That’s how he can show that he is merciful. If you did not sin, Allah would not have a chance to prove his mercy. This would annoy Allah very much and will cause him to annihilate you. This is what we learn from the following authentic hadith.

“If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon.”

Sahih Muslim 2748b

In fact, Allah has already decreed all your sins for you. Yes, he has kindly prepared in advance the sins you must to commit throughout your life. Read the following authentic hadith carefully.

“Allah fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in. There would be no escape from it…”

Sahih Muslim 2658a

Notice that it is Allah himself who decrees how much of adultery you will commit in your life. You MUST commit it. The hadith explicitly teaches that there is no escape from it. There is no such thing as, “I refuse to commit adultery.” That would be going against Allah’s will! You must commit all the adulteries and every other sin that Allah has apportioned for you.

Even Adam realized this and acknowledged that it was Allah who appointed him to sin even before he was created! In this authentic hadith, Sahih Muslim 2652c, Muhammad relates and argument between Adam and Musa. We read that Musa blamed Adam for mankind’s fate to be kicked out of paradise, “Then you caused the people to get down to the earth because of your lapse.” Adam was indignant and responded, “Do you then blame me for an act which Allah had ordained for me forty years before He created me?” We can pinpoint the ultimate culprit for the sin of Adam and the fate of all mankind. It was not Adam or Eve. It was not satan or any demon. It was Allah!

Even before you were born, Allah had already decreed your final destination, whether you will go to paradise or to hell. Look at the following authentic hadith.

“…God created for Paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father’s loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father’s loins.”

Sahih Muslim 2662c

Do you realize what this means? An innocent newborn baby that dies could go to hell. If Allah has decreed hell for you, there is nothing you can do about it. You can pray 50 times a day and do all the good deeds in the world but it will be useless. It has already been decided by Allah while you were still in your father’s loins.

If you ask me, this sounds more like satan than the true God. The Bible teaches that God does not want anyone to perish. God did not create anyone for the purpose of going to hell. If anyone does go to hell, it would be because it is their own decision not to be saved by God. Scripture specifically teaches that God “wants everyone to be saved.” (1 Timothy 2:4) That is the reason Jesus came into the world, “not to condemn the world but so that the world can be saved through him.” (John 3:17) Yet we know there will be people who will be going to hell, not because God willed it but because they condemned themselves to hell when they reject the only Savior, Jesus Christ. “…he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

John 3:36
