Pure Monotheism Of Islam

Every Muslim proudly declares that Islam is monotheistic.

Let’s take a closer look and examine how true this is.

The Islamic statement of faith is known as the Shahadah and goes like this, “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.”

This is the first pillar of Islam and something that every Muslim must recite in Arabic, in worship, and in prayer. As you can see, in the shahadah, a Muslim pronounces his allegiance and devotion to two beings:
1. Allah
2. Muhammad

In contrast, if you look at the declaration of faith of the Jews, known as the Shema Yisrael, it has one allegiance and one focus of worship and prayer – The LORD.

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

Deuteronomy 6:4

The remarkable thing is that Shema has been unchanged for 3500 years! To this day, the Shema is recited by Jews and acknowledged by Christians. The one focus of worship and prayer is The LORD, Yahweh.

It is very telling to note that no prophet ever added his own name to the Shema.
There was never a “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. AND….Moses is his messenger…or Noah…or David….or Jonah….!

No prophet ever dared to partner his own name with God’s name in the statement of faith that signified allegiance, worship, prayer and obedience.
Muslims will protest at the use of the word “partner”.

Essentially that is what the shahadah is! A partnership between two beings – Allah and Muhammad. Muslims will vehemently deny this but they cannot deny that the shahadah declaration of Muslim faith and allegiance is incomplete if either one of those two Beings is omitted!

Think about it. If a Muslim were to just recite, “There is no God but Allah” and stops there, the shahadah is invalid! This is an insult to Allah. It’s as if Allah cannot even stand on his own and he is deemed incomplete and insufficient without Muhammad!

The shahadah that Muhammad brought also unwittingly opens up another can of worms.
Listen to this. If Muhammad claimed that he was a prophet in the line of all the true Jewish prophets, then why did he not affirm the SHEMA that all of the true prophets upheld unchanged for thousands of years and still exists to this day? What was wrong with it? Why did he innovate a new confession of faith? It would seem very suspiciously self-serving for him to add his own name to it!

Islam means “Submission.” Submission to whom?
Is it really submission to Allah alone?
Muslims will no doubt respond with a resounding YES!
The problem is the Quran says you are wrong!

Sura 4:65
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.

But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad SAW) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.

The verse clearly says you Muslims cannot even have faith unless you submit in full and willing SUBMISSION to Muhammad!

Is it really submission to Allah alone? The answer is NO.

Like the shahadah is allegiance and devotion to two Beings, Islam itself, in essence, is SUBMISSION to two Beings:
1. Allah
2. Muhammad

Submission to Allah alone is insufficient and incomplete. You cannot just say, “I submit to Allah.” THAT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! Once again, Muhammad is needed to complete Allah. I am not a Muslim but I have to question why your god Allah is insulted in this manner implying that Allah needs his partner, agent, intermediary, messenger, or whatever you want to call him. It makes even less sense that a mere messenger is elevated to Allah’s level in confession, allegiance, faith, worship, and prayer encapsulated in the shahadah and the very word Islam.

Some astute Muslims will now say, “Well, what about you Christians? Isn’t Jesus the partner, agent, intermediary of God to you?”
That is actually a very good question.

Here is the answer: There is a chasm between man and God. Why? Because God is so holy and powerful and transcendent. Man is not. And no man can bridge the gap between God and mankind. ONLY GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL TO DO IT HIMSELF!
In Christianity, this chasm has been bridged by God Himself when He came to earth as a man, Jesus Christ. In Islam, while Allah will not associate with man, Muhammad bridged the gap!
While in Christianity, it is God Himself who comes down to our level, in Islam it is a man, Muhammad, being elevated to God’s level! Think about it!

In the Tashahhud prayers that Muslims recite every day to God, you will find inconspicuously a portion of the prayer that is addressed directly to Muhammad!
“Peace be upon YOU, O Prophet…”
YOU???
I have asked many Muslims, “To whom are you directing and addressing this prayer to?” Muslims always deny that they are addressing Muhammad even though it is clear that they are speaking to Muhammad!

In Sura 33:56, Allah himself joins creation in praying for Muhammad.
“Verily God and his angels pray (arabic: yusalloona) for the prophet O ye who believe! Pray for him (salloo) and salute him with a salutation.” (Palmer)

All Muslims bow down and pray towards a cubicle shrine even though it was the center of idol worship for centuries. Why are prayer and worship being directed toward an object? Why do your prayer and worship become invalid if you fail to direct it towards this object? The object has become an idol for you to pray and worship in place of Allah.
The excuse that it is only for the purpose of direction makes little sense. The Almighty God is not limited by location or direction! If you prostrate 10 degrees off, does Allah fail to receive your worship?

All Muslims endeavor to make the pilgrimage to Mecca. When they get there, they encircle the kaabah seven times. Where did Muhammad get this practice from? Tawaf is a pagan ritual that was done long before Muhammad in honor of the seven planetary deities that the Arab pagans believe orbited the earth. Today Muslims continue this idolatrous pagan practice of honoring the seven idol deities by circumambulating seven times. In fact, the entire pilgrimage is steeped in pagan rituals that Muhammad adopted.

The black stone that Muslims long to kiss is another conscious entity. A being that will have eyes and a tongue and become an advocate on the day of Judgement!

Ibn `Abbas further related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Judgment, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favor of those who touched it in sincerity.”

(See Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944)

Is this Being created or uncreated?
If it is created, why are you directing your affection and adoration to an object instead of Allah? This is idolatry.
If it is uncreated, then it is an eternal entity that exists alongside Allah.

Muslims believe that Allah’s speech is eternal and uncreated. It is yet another eternal being that exists with Allah and will appear in the form of a pale man.

It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father told that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “The Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection, like a pale man, and will say, ‘I am the one who kept you awake and night and made you thirsty during the day.’

Sunan Ibn Majah 3781 ; Vol 5, Book 33 Hadith 3781

How many is that? I have lost count. All these multiple eternal conscious entities is undeniable evidence of polytheism in Islam..
