Two Paths
How wonderful it is for the one who does not heed bad advice or listen to wrong guidance. He does not do the evil things that others do. Neither does he bad-mouth God or other people.
Instead he finds special joy in reading God’s Word. He thinks about what God says over and over again, all day long. He gains nourishment from those life-giving Words. He becomes a blessing to God and others, and grows more alive, as God blesses him in everything he does.
On the other hand, those who hate God travel another path. Their very life becomes so worthless that they lose it on the journey. When Jesus comes again to judge the world, they will receive their just rewards. There will be no place for them together with God’s people.
God is close to the the one who walks in His paths but each step of the one who hates God takes him closer and closer to his end.
